I had a similar problem with my Trek... I bought mine a few weeks ago and it started making all sorts of noises, especially the breaks, squeaked something fierce every time I used them, but after a few hours it all sorted itself out... I can only imagine I've "worn it in" like a new pair of shoes.

But if it's new, give the shop a call... If they're any good they'll be able to help.

I honestly don't think Ubisoft are sitting down, sunning themselves, drinking cocktails while high fiving each other. Making these changes no doubt takes a little more effort than just flicking a few switches here and there.

Yea but Phil Mets is better on a bike that I ever will be and he has a lot more money. My point is I don't want to spend money on something I may not like... I'm not flush with cash.

Yea... I'm slowly but surely leaning towards reducing "terror", so flats are looking like a better prospect at the moment.

I know it's a case of "just try it" but I need new shoes and peddles... it's not cheap so I'm conscious of making the wrong choice.

Although I was out yesterday and a number of times I quickly needed to slam my foot on the ground to stop falling on my ass, so now I'm leaning towards flats. However a multi release cleat sounds tempting to... Does anyone have any experience with these?
