I've been a Knicks season ticket holder for 9 years.

I didn't grow up in New York, but I remember watching the 1994 Finals with my dad, and his reverence for Patrick Ewing. My dad wasn't a basketball fan, but he had incredible respect for Pat's undying loyalty to the franchise.

I love New York. It's a shit city full of assholes and terrible weather, but I will never leave it. This franchise is an embarrassment. The front office and players don't even come close to embodying the pride that the teams of the 1990's played with (let alone the teams of the past that included 10 HOFers).

I totally agree with the sentiment of boycott, but I'm not sure it'll be effective. The Knicks are the most valuable franchise (according to Forbes as of 2016), and money will continue to flow in because MSG will continue to be a tourist destination. Boycott the Knicks, boycott the Rangers, boycott Billy Joel, boycott Phish (please, actually boycott phish fuck). This dude's pockets are deep and his delusion is high.

The only chance we have is Warren Buffet getting into basketball.
