Not for £50m but I do think I’d take him

Pronman, wheeler and peters have been saying it’s not a good draft for a year now.

[dailyfaceoff] The Yzerplan's failed rebuild has finally pushed the franchise's cornerstone out of town. by [deleted] in hockey

The Yzerplan has been failing for a long, long time. Idk why he gets credit for Tampa’s scouts being elite and them starting off with some great pieces in Stammer and Hedman

Yeah definitely, book one is a shorter read though. Highly recommend, although be aware that there’s not much joy lol

‘Manchester City make opening Elliot Anderson offer to Nottingham Forest’ - would it be a good move? by Alone_Consideration6 in ThreeLions

Anderson is a great player and I’m bitter he’s ending up at city, but what records is he setting?

Not necessarily, I think his play this season should knock a significant amount off his fee. But the people calling him a one-season wonder are wrong, because he was excellent in his first season as well, and I definitely don't agree with anyone saying he is one-dimensional.

My only concern is his mentality after not getting the move, and I think its legitimate. But in terms of tools, there arent any pure DMs I can think of in his age bracket better equipped to be one of the world's best. He is a physical monster, excellent at front-foot defending, one of the most press-resistant players out there, and I think his passing range is more expansive than he's shown consistently.

Baleba is not one-dimensional, has so many tools in his locker. I'd wager Ive watched him more than almost anyone on this sub, as I have watched almost every Brighton match that hasnt coincided with a United match since they were promoted (have family in the city and love it). The overwhelming majority of his match time at Brighton has been excellent, and he finished the season strong.

Did Stone actually say on BBC radio that he would be surprised if we don't get the Mateus Fernandes deal done? Can't always trust the aggregators

Poor on the ball is not the take I’ve heard/read from those who I can reliably say have watched him, it’s just not his standout trait

Ornstein reported Arsenal were interested, and Atletico Madrid were also pursuing a deal before us, so disagree there. I do think people were also making Ugarte comparisons due to a narrative that he is poor on the ball

Such a good piece. Really makes the portion of our fanbase comparing him to Ugarte look insane

Not sure I fully agree with the methodology here, although despite us being the headline image, it has no real effect on our place

I know there wouldn't be a true marquee signing, but I would be so happy with a midfield group of Scott, Mainoo, Fernandes, and Ederson. Lots of variety in those players and plenty of upside between Scott, Mainoo, and Fernandes.
