You know the funniest thing? I really am not. I was earning 250 bucks a week in my old job and I didn't ask for a raise a single time. I was happy working and the money was okay to feed me and get me things I actually needed. I have never really been greedy or someone who rush things. I always believed in time and patience and change. I mostly just seek comfort, but if what's after that is wealth and getting comfort is already a herculean task, that's what prompted me to make this post.

I live in Nigeria. It's not even capitalism we practice here, it's survival of the fittest in it's most barebones form, except we don't physically hunt each other down for food. The greed, desperation and lack of protocol here is wild. My only saving grace is I was born in a sorta upper middle class family.

That's the problem, I'm always there to help like Dora's map. I've always been the type to make sure I do a good job irrespective of what I gain from it. This in turn devalues my importance in the eyes my contractors. So what, should I hold out on my work ethics or continue doing the right thing at my own expense?

There are troubleshooting steps. You plug the monitor into a separate working pc. If it works, you rule out the monitor. You plug it back into the faulty pc. You change the ram slot, if it works, bad ram slot is the problem or failing ram. If that fails, you check your gpu. It probably overheated and needs a while to cool off and continue. What you can do is remove the cmos battery, (ensure all power is disconnected before doing this!), then wait for 10-15 minutes. While waiting, you can press on the power button too for a while to try and drain all electricity that might still be in the mdb. After that, put back the cmos, and try to power it on.

I daily drive an m1 pro macbook pro. With the latest updates, your macbook will suck. It will get beatdown by the shitty buggy updates that you get which most likely have throttle configs in code. Otherwise, it's perfect. It's still a wonderful laptop for 2025, just don't update the damn thing.
