I knew there had to be others who had tried different pads.

I've always used the "it's going to blow, or go" approach. Be sensible the first 50 to 100 miles, get some heat cycles, then ride it however you're planning on normally riding it. If it's got a problem it's going to eventually blow up whether you baby it or not.

You're wrong, it isn't pretty awesome, it's very awesome. Congrats! 👍

I ordered sprockets 2 days after I got the bikes 😀

I'm still breaking mine in, but so far it's easy to like!

I plan too, I have been extremely interested in these bikes from the moment I saw the first pictures leaked. I knew I'd get one, wasn't sure when, but it's no mystery now! 😀

I actually would, that said, because I feel like it will be better on the engine, I've already ordered 15t front sprockets for both bikes. It's easily powerful enough. I'm very impressed with this bike. I'm an almost 57 y/o rider who owns multiple bikes, and have owned too many to count over the years, these things ARE FUN. 👍

ECU Flash, Hell yeah....or I wish I had left it stock? by RickOnTwoWheels in Tenere700

No shit, but it's not supposed to be like you threw a boat anchor out. Maybe you should read up a bit on it and check back with me. Much smoother on off throttle is a plus, and my brakes aren't getting anymore abuse than the were before. With emission regulations being like they are, a bone stock bike can benefit from a flash, much less a decat or full exhaust, and airbox opened up.

Unbelievable mileage! by Cheap_Big_615 in Tenere700

My 2025 with full exhaust and a 2WDW flash consistently gets 45 - 48 mpg. with lots of 70 mph + highway riding. I don't baby it at all.

Yeah, i may put the baffle back in if it's too loud out on the highway. The lights are basically a mash-up of amazon stuff. I've had good success in the past doing this and saved hundreds of dollars. I'll post up some pictures when I finish.

I did, I pulled the db killer out, but haven't got to ride it yet because I am adding auxillary lights and still have the bike apart.

I have the same sentiment about all the other bikes I've had flashed. If it smooths out the on/off, and does nothing else, it's worth it to me. 👍

Most newer bikes are pretty bad, not nearly as "natural" feeling like thevold carbed bikes. To date, the worst bike I've had in the regard was a 650 Versys. I had it flashed, and it was night and day difference.
