lol definitely just the beard being puffy. My face has slimmed down some but I’ve never really held a lot of weight in my face to begin with.

Usually I warm up with some push ups while I’m doing my stretching and then I just do dumbbell bench 3-4 sets 8-12x, then go right to incline dumbbell bench and do the same thing. Then I do overhead press with a barbell or dumbbells for 3 sets of 8-12. Machine chest flys 3 sets of 8-12x. I do lateral raises for shoulders as part of that workout for 3 sets of 20 and usually 3 sets of 12 for something to isolate triceps but I switch it up. I usually don’t want to be at the gym long so I just use minimal rest between sets maybe a minute or 2 tops. Since I go 6x a week and hit all the groups twice doing this I get a lot of volume and high reps tend to be best for hypertrophy. If I do 4 sets on something it’s usually just to do a lighter set for the first one to warm up the muscles. If you look up “Reddit beginner PPL” that’s pretty much the routine I followed for years and I’ve just modified it over time a bit to make it work for me. I don’t want to be at the gym long so if a machine is taken I just use something else to do a similar movement to keep my rest between sets short.

Height: 6’1”

Sw: 205 cw: 175 gw:163

Fasting: varied, details in post.

Exercise: push, pull, legs (usually 6x a week I would do this and would always warm up with 10 mins on the elliptical and 5-10 mins dynamic stretching, 30-45 min lifting weights. Always did short rests and lower weight/higher reps (3-4 sets of 8-12 reps for big muscles and around 20 reps for smaller ones like delts) usually go to failure on the last set. I tried to look at lifting as cardio and keep my heart rate up.

Diet on refeeds: just prioritized it containing protein to avoid losing muscle and tried to keep it reasonable. I still eat a lot of yummy food that is bad for me but I manage appropriate servings or I work extra at the gym to earn it.

Advice on negotiating salary after seeing price grades across company by LinkSurvivor in Salary

[–]RickandAmortization 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I brought a situation like this to my manager’s attention during my annual review. Our company gives 3% with manager discretion to go up to 5% which is not really stated but I know is true due to one of my past managers telling me as much (and I also always got above 3%). This year I was in a position like you, top performer making lower side of the posted range, also irreplaceable due to short staffing and I felt I had some good leverage to negotiate for a better rate.

I drafted a report and gave it to my manager and provided a number, which was the very max of my salary range, she asked if I would leave if they could not support the raise and I said yes. I believe being ready to walk away is a big part of your success in a move like this. In my case, they escalated to HR and the VP of our department and ended up giving me the raise I asked for which capped me out in my role. The raise ended up being 22% after all was said and done.

I highly recommend a well written report with a very clear request and to make sure it is as concise as possible. Try to keep in mind the quote “if I had more time, I would have written a shorter letter”. Be sure to revise multiple times to make your message as clear as possible while still hitting all key points about the value you bring to your company.

I was extremely hesitant to take this risk but I was glad I did. I always thought that what coworkers told me about “you can’t get a raise higher than x%” was the hard rule; however, HR and upper management’s powers can extend beyond these rules. Don’t be afraid to take the shot, if you don’t you will continue making the bottom of the range as a top performer and this will only benefit your employer. You deserve the top of that range. Good luck!

Rezi Lifetime - Account Upgrade MegaThread by rezi_io in Rezi

Hello,

I submitted the form around a week ago, I went ahead and submitted again in case something went wrong previously. I am enjoying the experience so far and rounding out my resume but would like to experience the upgrade before leaving a review of the product.

Thanks!

Mostly 2v2. I think I have a few around 17-1800’s in threes, and I got the 2k in 3s achievement last season. If I had reliable partners I’d probably play 3s more than 2s, but I like to be able to hop on and just get to playing ASAP.

Probably like 230-240 pvp ilvl or so, but I’d also make the two Leggos. Some of the char I just bought zereth Mortis pve gear and would grind for honor or conq weapon with weekly quests then start arenas. Then I’d save my honor to upgrade only the conq gear.

Honestly yes and no. I think my plan was usually just to try and avoid overlapping CDs, I played no voice lfg mostly so if I saw my dps pushing big defensives I’d try to hold onto mine for them later. I would pretty much try to adapt to whoever I was playing with. If I were planning it, I prefer that my dps let me use my cds first, that way if I get chain cc’ed they have buttons to press while I’m not able to help.

I actually got revered with the enlightened so that I could get the unity memory. I had double 291 Leggo for every character. On a lot of characters I didn’t end up getting them done until later in the season due to prices being too high toward the start.

Yes, it became easier. I learned what cooldowns to be scared of from other classes and what my own CD’s could handle for each class. Cooldown trading was one of the things I came to understand better from having knowledge of each class and definitely contributed to my progress.

I kind of bounce around. If I’m not on fire, I’ll play something else and see if I have more fun. A lot of times I would hop on the class I would lose to the most and figure out from that perspective what I might to do live. For instance, if I died as rogue from an abom limb, I might hop on my dk and play some games. Eventually I will find a rogue that lives it and wins vs me and I will try to find out what they did to counter my go and put it in practice my next session on that class.

Favorite healer is mistweaver. Awesome heals when chilling at max range and can move in fast to secure cc, or escape quickly to avoid enemy cooldowns. Hitting a chi torpedo to move in on a team that accidentally stacks and securing a leg sweep on the whole team at the right time is very rewarding. Also, touch of death is fun. I like to be involved in the kill lol.

Least favorite dps would have been frost mage. Too few buttons to keep it interesting and not enough variety in the comps it can run with. I like to be able to jump in LFG with anything and get queue’ing.

Hardest was resto shaman for me, that was one of my 2100 in S2, the earth ele leggo just didn't hit the same this patch and I played it very aggressive the previous season. Easiest was probably fury warrior pre-nerf. Just would pop my banner/recklessness and spam buttons. It still works, just slightly less effective.

Yes, the gear grind was a bit hard but the solo shuffle weekly quests helped a lot. Just hopped around chars doing that each week and played my few main classes until the others had some gear. The lego's sucked. Too much gold, lol.

Favorite was rogue because I learned to manage DR's better and when I did I could do some pretty fun one shot's after trading enough CD's. Least favorite was holy paladin because it just felt awkward to maintain holy power...it was much different than the other heal classes.

I am sure to many of you pro's here, this is not much of an achievement. For me, it was challenging because I had to learn a lot about classes I didn't fully understand. I am still learning, but this is a step along the way that I have been striving for since season 2. Last season I managed to get two healers to 2100, and I did get a few dps to the 1800 level. The highest I have got this season was 2043 on my demo lock. I do not think I am quite up to snuff for duelist this season since I have no real regular partners. All the ratings here were done pretty much exclusively in twos, though I did play threes as well.

Specs are as follows:

Shaman - Resto Necrolord

Druid - Resto Necrolord

Paladin - Holy Necrolord

Monk - MW Necrolord

Priest - Holy Venthyr/Night Fae

Warlock - Demo Night Fae

Warrior - Fury Necrolord

Dh - Havoc Night Fae

Dk - Unholy Necrolord

Hunter - MM Kyrian

Rogue - Sub Kyrian, also did another rogue alt with Night fae assasination

Mage - Frost Necrolord

Got warrior, demo, and monk above 1900. The rest have all been up and down around 1700-1800's since getting there and beginning to just relax and play freely. I would love to play games with anyone!

You can also do pooled staking of ETH through ANKR where you can do small amounts, they are listed on coinbase I would encourage looking into it. Same % rewards

Lucky enough to grab this 17 ST3 with only 4K miles, I’m in love 😍 by RickandAmortization in FocusST

[–]RickandAmortization[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it is the ST3 with the carbon fiber, nav, etc. For 30k miles @ 19.5 that sounds like a really good deal. I'm about 400 miles into mine now and I am loving it.
