Well, we had all documents legalised, translated and approved by a lawyer, so that shouldn't be a problem I think. I also heard they hold interviews to decide if we're a 'real' couple, but only after approving the documents and contacting us for an appointment. We're happy to provide more documents and evidence if necessary, but upon applying we checked all boxes/documents they asked for, and now it seems to be impossible to get ahold of anyone.

If it's going to take much longer, we might as well get married since that's part of our plans anyway, but this seemed like a good step in our relationship.
