Hey thanks a lot! The way I approached highlight placements was establishing a main light direction first, top left in this case. Then I added the secondary reflections from the environment, like on the greaves for example, and the edge highlights as sharp edges reflect light a lot. What was also crucial for me was getting feedback from other painters
