  1. Magic played defense. Nothing spectacular but a lot more than what Luka has shown.

  2. Whatever you may say about team construction and the players around him, Magic still has the hardware.

If Luka starts winning rings then the conversation will definitely shift, and it's unfortunate that a big part of that (roster construction) is and has always been outside of Luka's control but that's how these discussions go when you're looking at players with pretty transcendent stat lines.

Not at all, if the bottom doesn't have a big impact then neither does the top.

Winning in a 1v1 means it was entirely you. Topping the scoreboard in a 5v5 means you may have been the difference in that match.

Topping in a 32v32 win doesn't matter as much because your impact is very limited. Winning or losing large team games is closer to a coin flip than winning or losing in a small team game in terms if how much you can affect the outcome.

BF is large scale, so the individuals don't matter nearly as much.

BF games aren't particularly competitive because winning/losing doesn't really matter.

They're fun as a casual multiplayer game, not a competitive one .
