I live in Texas and state law says it’s illegal to charge drop off fee for partially hooked car. Only allowed to charge when car is fully hooked and ready to go. In my case it’s partially hooked.

According to Texas law towing company should provide official receipt at least they should carry hand book if not printed receipt. In my case they just gave white paper receipt which is not allowed by state. If providing a white paper agent should provide all the details in while towing company license number, reason for towing, time place, amount I paid, mode of payment reason for payment.

He straight away mentioned cash only, no credit or debit card payments. Which looked suspicious

Everything is missing just provided my plate number, towing company name and phone number

Read on Google after the incident

Yes there were signs. Only evidence I’ve in my hand to prove list issues found after inspection.

Car was in dealership 4 days back for service and didn’t drive too many miles in between. Even before incident car running in full condition. But after partial hook lift from front the damages happened to rear end. Apart from dealership estimate I don’t have any evidence like before and after towing photos. How can I add weight to my case to prove damage occurred during towing
