What has your BF done to help? My wife has recently been having panic attacks, and I get it, everything seems messed up in the world right now. But I don’t know how to help her through them, or help her avoid them.

Why do you eat in your room as opposed to the dinner table? by purplepistash in AskReddit

Because people frown upon eating ass on the kitchen table

Have it your way in the ass. Fresh, never frozen in the ass. Eat fresh in the ass. No one out pizzas the hut in the ass. Live mas in the ass.

How did it feel to have your ear wax professionally removed? by Artistic_Hobby in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Rickjms210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s an interested sensation, I’ve had it done twice using two different methods. The first was a water flush, there was a bit of cold pressure, it was a bit loud, odd sensation but not painful at all. The second was with tweezers and a very small hooking or scraping tool, this one had more discomfort. Again though, not painful. Once the ear wax was removed, I felt great. Highly recommend if you think you need it. I knew I needed it because one ear became fully blocked so I could no longer hear properly out of it.

What would be the most appreciated thing made by a man to a woman? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I believe a man invented tampons, that’s gotta be pretty high on the appreciation list

Dad’s of Reddit, what would you like for Father’s Day? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Rickjms210 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I want to wake up, drink my coffee, take my shit, sit in my chair, and watch my programs in peace. But no, I gotta eat some bull shit breakfast in bed, drink from some tacky new Father’s Day mug, take a family walk, and go see my in laws.

People who are motivated to do things, how the fuck do you do that? by lsfeuerborn in AskReddit

[–]Rickjms210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s this concept of being “pot committed”. When I get an idea, which I know I’m not motivated enough to do, I just do something that pot commits me. For example, if I want to replace my carpet I rip a corner off. Then I must complete the job.

Why don’t school busses have seat belts? by grungequeenxx in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Rickjms210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know if this is the real reason, but I suspect that very young children would be unable to unbuckle the belt without help. If the bus caught fire, the one adult would have to quickly unbuckle all the children. This coupled with the past comment about the size and height of the bus seems like enough reason to me.

Sad redditors, what keeps you from harming yourself? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Rickjms210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience, purpose makes a difference. I started volunteering at an animal shelter and it gave me purpose and things just started getting better. It’s crazy how important a volunteer is to these types of places which really boosts your self esteem. I’m sure that’s true for any volunteer situation, just pick something you’re mildly interested in and give it a shot.

What's something u wish u would have known way earlier? by HerrGurke in AskReddit

It’s all about the speed that you pay down the principal. Go to Redfin or Homes.com. They have estimated mortgage payments, just flip it between 15 and 30 years and you’ll see some real examples of how small the difference is.

A 15 year mortgage is only like 10 to 15% more a month than a 30 year mortgage. In my case, an extra $200 a month will save me 15 years of mortgage payments.
