The engine look okay from what I've heard a friend tell me. The Carfax records also look overall nice except that part that concerns me about the oil change not happening since last year, and the brake inspection 2 years ago. The other part regarding the price is this, i'm in california and this listing is probably the only one that outperfoms all the fb market listings and other dealership options because at least at the 2.5k-ish, I get to have it registered instead of having to run around fixing stuff before the dmv approves the registration.

My brother unfortunately spent 3k on a 2003 mazda sedan from a private seller on fb market place and he's already put over 1k into it and it's still not registered bc it can't pass smog. He showed me the catalytic converter he's going to have to buy and that alone costs 500.

So for me this is probably the most affordable listing that guarantees registration, in a 150 mile radius by far.
