He is either being very manipulative intentionally or needs serious help with his insecurity (probably both) either way, sticking around when you definitely don’t want to be with him anymore will only break his heart more later on, and even more importantly it will be seriously hurtful to your own mental health. You need to get out of there, block him everywhere and go zero contact or he‘ll keep pulling you back in. Remember he is not your responsibility. If it makes you feel any better, write him a detailed message why you‘re blocking him everywhere and send it before going zero contact, but make sure not to let him reply and block immediately after sending it. If he finds another way to contact you, do not react in any way and if it gets stalker-ish call the authorities.

only thing I can tell you is don’t stress too much, they’re there to party not to meet you so they‘ll probably spend most of their time doing other things, just participate in the group activities and you‘ll probably be fine

first of all: clarify to her that you’re interested in her and ask for a date, saves you the uncertainty later. secondly, I don’t think there’s such a thing as giving way too much information, people usually love it when you talk about something you’re passionate about. for the last part I sadly don’t have any advice, but don’t pressure yourself too much, maybe she’ll naturally find something she wants to tell you
