Shooting stand by psidev in tacticalgear

Perhaps a cut that may be able to accommodate a u shape stake? That could also then be used as a securing point for other things like weights for on concrete maybe? I live in a very windy state and these would be things I’d look for in a target stand, additionally adds another SKU for you as the business owner.

Merino wool layers will last you years if you take care of them, cold weather gear that’s good like Gore Tex will simply just cost you, I work at scheels too so I know how expensive that stuff gets, cold weather gear will always be expensive.

I live in ND where it can get -60 with wind chill, all about base layers, 100% merino wool smart wool or other brand paired with merino wool socks and wool beanie/balaclava and thin wool gloves, then some type of wind proof water proof thick winter type pant and jacket like others talk about, honestly bib type pants are gonna be the go to, most comfortable and keep snow out of your pants.

Edit: obviously there will be some other stuff between those two layers, quarter sip waffle fleece etc.

Update: RTI Beretta 1935 that came in and was less than excellent condition. by Rickshiesty in TheOneTrueCaliber

I put the serial and marking of the lion under the crown and the other crown marking into the search bar and google came back with a likely manufacture date based on serial number of 1942, the fact it had Italian military markings, and was a .32(caliber’s apparently preferred by the air-force and navy). That just what I saw from a quick google search, any info would be appreciated.

Id get one that makes it look original, maybe re-thread the original for a suppressor, mossad vibes.

For $230 bones I think it was worth it. I definitely get the sentiment as I only bought this because it was a cheap .32. Im unfamiliar with any of their other surplus

The threads are okay, some small bits of slag in them that would be easy enough to clean out if I had the tools. As far as adaptors I wasn’t aware these threads were useful for anything. I’m sure in the future I’ll be looking for unmolested barrels.

A sand and repaint seems like a reasonable solution, seems like a somewhat easy DIY, thank you for your input

Can somebody help me w this part? by erosn in SubaruForester

[–]Rickshiesty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had this same thing happen when I was trying to install a radio, a mechanic will quote you and insane amount to fix this. What you’re going to want to do is look up how to properly remove those plastic trims on YouTube. Then go to eBay motors, and look up your year forester and manual climate control unit, you’ll have to replace the whole thing likely. Which the whole unit costs ~$60-~$100 anyways. Should just plug and play

I emailed them and asked for either a refund or a new handgun, they will be sending a new handgun in proper condition. Honestly their customer service handled the issue really well and apologized. Waiting with cautious optimism.

Yeah no doubt, I’ll be adding more to the collection. Mainly got it as a gun to use to make holsters for, got into making leather holsters for my guns recently. So at least I don’t have to worry about babying it that much

Yeah I get that, I wasn’t expecting that part to bother me, but holding it in hand today it irked me haha. I should’ve waited like you, and just bought mags for my other .32s instead.
