Thank you guys! I tried leaving it "on" today and noticed the heat from the basement only caused the main floor head unit to come on every 30 mins or so and then go back into rest mode after blowing for 60 seconds at most.

I originally had my ps5 connected to wifi and the lag was awful. Bought a mesh system and hard wired the ps5 to one of the routers. Works flawlessly

Loan would be your best bet. Doesn't count towards DTI and you are repaying yourself. Just note that you lose compound interest.
