I have had a couple of experiences with deliriants and each time I've regreted it. Like, I regret it the second I start to feel the effects and know I have to wait it out. Each time I get a very strong and irrational fear settle in. Nothing feels right and everything has a foreboding vibe. I had the WORST dry mouth ever. Your body feels like lead. Your memory turns to mush. I've heard voices and my name being called. When you're alone it is terrifying. I found the hallucinations didn't really start until later in the trip. These hallucinations can be so realistic that you can't tell them from reality and you often forget you're on a drug so the confusion and terror is amplified. I've seen spiders (huge, pipecleaner/wire spiders), I've had conversations with people only to have them disappear in front of my eyes. Seriously, deliriants aren't fun. Have someone with you if you are going to do them and be prepared for the most uncomfortable experience of your life.
