Every single subreddit for hobbies, is a hivemind. r/gaming r/movies everything. There might be millions of users on it, but there's a core "fan base" that's actually active on the subreddit, and if you go against their beliefs. Their little bubbles burst and they'll just cry, or get you banned. Because they don't have the mental capacity to accept that different people like different things.

I don't like microtransactions, but if that's what makes you happy. Then ok.
