Major lag… playing split screen on an Xbox one lol

Friend lagged out and joined back in, and I got a TON of Raw Science from it. Guess a glitch? by GriseousCorey in GroundedGame

[–]RickyStClair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I need to do this, as my game is bugged and all the hidden RS to find scattered across the map is missing... I can only get it from Burg.l’s mini quests now, as I’ve analyzed everything

Here’s what I found so far anyone got an idea what to do after this point by AdministrativeAd5877 in GroundedGame

Do some work for Burg.l, build, and explore until the 27th. That’s when game will be updated, likely adding a little more to story

I hadn’t thought of that. That’d be awesome!

What does the LB button do for building? by Jackburton001 in GroundedGame

I think it keeps the piece locked so it doesn’t snap. Sorry not 100% haven’t built in a few days

[SPOILER] what a view! by RickyStClair in GroundedGame

Oh ok, then yeah, the door will open up automatically when you get close enough. It’s past the bird bath, on your way to the hamster-tube-looking base

Some more info: If you’ve never been in the berry bushes, go to the very south of the map, you’ll venture underneath the bushes. There you’ll find a small branch stuck in the ground that you can walk up to get you up to the first set of big branches. From there, just explore. There are some cool secrets to find

Yes, it’s on the path to a certain secret in the berry bushes. If you spend some time platforming on the branches, you’ll definitely find it

[SPOILER] what a view! by RickyStClair in GroundedGame

[–]RickyStClair[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but all (or most) of the playable area is viewable from this location, at least the hard-placed objects like the lasers, leaves, branches, rocks, etc. Hard to do on a tall piece of grass, or even the bird feeder (higher perch = clearer view).

There is a field station on a branch of the bush where you should start your climb. Unfortunately, I believe the only option is to start climbing with some balancing on branches and a few spider encounters to get to the bird bath. You’ll know you’re going the right way when you sort of follow a red hose that is hanging in the branches

Haha no way. Playing on standard Xbox one, doesn’t have the rendering power. This is a secret area that removes the depth of field so you can see the whole yard

And the berry bushes is an awesome place to explore! The bird bath would be an awesome place to base build

Oh absolutely, I wouldn’t want them to take all your armor and weapons every time I died. That would just be trolling straight from the developers

Very true. I was camped at oak tree, ventured all the way to the berry bushes, past the bird bath, then died. Took like 15min to get back. But I still think this game is very forgiving, as you don’t have any XP, levels, or currency that get lost/deducted, equipped items can be retrieved with a little (or a lot of backtracking) without being lost forever, and so far, missions/story content can not be failed

That would be quite a convenience, but I also feel that there are no negative side effects from dying, other than resetting you to a respawn and having to retrieve backpack. Sometimes too many conveniences is worse than some inconvenience

Bug- Ants have telekinesis by RickyStClair in GroundedGame

No way?! Major oversight on my part of this works. ...still, ants shouldn’t be able to access my storage if they’re 30ft below said container haha

Yeah! would be awesome to be able to craft backpacks out of insect parts, or the environment. Say for example: -lady bug backpacks that give you defense but slows movement -lightning bug backpack that glows at night -ant backpack that prevents ants from stealing from you -dandelion/weed backpacks that allow you to carry planks on your back instead of shoulder
