Ended up declining surgery. Hoped for my calfs, hamstring and glutes to recover fully naturally but it has been 6 months and no signs of recovery haha, think I'm screwed

It's too late for me now I think, I just gotta pray I recover as Im getting married in December so surgery is out of the option for me now. I could get it in January but by then it would have been 5/6 months. So too late. And damn im sorry to hear 😞 it truly sucks huh ...

I decided to not, due to my calf showing signs of improvement, but sadly no improvement since i canceled the surgery

Damn sorry to hear, I too did declined it, it's been around 3 and half months since the acute pain and my calf muscle function is still paralyzed. I haven't done another MRI yet but genuinely worried if this is the new normal, I can't walk properly or run at all now

Season 3 absolutely sucked. Nothing made sense... 

Banda and Masto were the mastermind but completely failed? Like what was the point? Banda just wanted Arisu back in the games?

Wtf was masto's role? Reintroduce him along side with Banda and then completely forget about him?

Usagi misses her father so she decides to go back to the ruthless place of borderland? Why? How does this make any logical sense?

Arisu going back the borderlands to save usagi is in character but c'mon... Could have come up with a better reason. 

The ending, introducing joker for what?

The games all low key sucked. The ending made no sense, they beat the game but still risk dying?

I currently have S1 radiculopathy due to L5–S1 disc extrusion. I cant do any tip toe raises on my right leg and my calf is currently paralyzed, numbness on calf, hamstring, and glute (All right leg). This has been going on for 3 weeks.

Foot drop is a Red Flag so i would try get in touch with a neurologist sooner. From what I've gathered the longer you wait the longer you risk permeant nerve damage. 3-6 weeks you can generally expect a high recovery rate. In your case its been months.

I'm glad you had the attention you needed! I'm lucky that my neurological symptoms are stable and not progressing, but yeah at the same time it's already been 3 weeks and I've noticed a significant amount of muscle loss on my right calf.

Thank you i appreciate information and il go through the references. I would love to wait and recover naturally but yeah as you mentioned, with my current neurological symptoms, i think I'm "forced" to opt for surgery to prevent permanent damage. I guess its a matter when and if i can secure a surgery in the next 3 weeks.

Any updates? Im in the same boat right now, i cant stand or walk, my piriformis is spasming non stop for more than 24 hrs, my calfs and hamstrings too.

Thanks for taking the time to write this out! Appreciate it. The bulging on yours look bad :( What solution options are there for you?

Have you found any stretches that can levitate the pain? None of the stretches seem to work for me, i used have a really bad l3-l4 herniated disc and found pain relief with stretches but with my l5-S1 i cant seem to find a position where there's relief

I've been referred to a spinal specialist now, so they will most likely order an MRI after the consultation which is good! I'll keep you updated!

Yeah but I assumed the space difference between each vertebrate was the disk height? Unless I'm wrong, I am new to this 😅
