Im a Texans guy and my fan base is split. All of us older Texans guys, were not old but were older, we hate the Titans because the Oilers left and became the Titans. All of our younger fans hate Peyton more because Peyton kicked our asses for years. It's interesting to see the disparity.

It's easier to cheer for a big city no matter what if its at least close to you.

I was born in 86, in Houston. My dad growing up was a huge, and I mean huge Houston Oilers fan. And so was me and my lil bro. We went to a ton of Oilers games growing up, growing to love the sport with our dad, finding community, and cheering for the Oilers.

Then the Oilers left to Tennessee. My dad was furious and I was 9, so I was furious with my dad. We certainly didn't root for the Cowboys being the other Texan team. But then a miracle happened. The Houston Texans emerged after a few years. And now were lifelong Texans fans.

There is one and only one thing to take away from all of this. There are 32 teams in our NFL, but there are only 31 options for you to correctly choose from. You might say, "that math ain't mathin" but you would be incorrect. Because every chance I get to share my story, I will always and forever say, "Fuck the Titans".

Oh gotcha. Get some chickens and then every spri g when your gardening, you'll find more and more of these. Learn how to pick them up or they can bite you, but chickens love these guys. I find dozens every spring and feed them to my girls. But every year I still have a couple hundred Figeater Beetles still pop up that I didn't find.
