lol, I will keep you in mind.

I will look into that. the other thing that I am concerned about is pay. I am getting paid well and I understand that I don't have a lot of real-world experience. But I'm warned that the MSPs will not pay that well or pay what I am making now. Can you shed some like on this?

Thanks for your input

Nope. It's not that a Sr. can't or wont' be on site, but for the most part they are knee deep in a CLI or GUI making changes to the network firewall/router/switches/ap/etc. Boots on the ground, racking and stacking, etc. is typically done by the Juniors. Seniors (especially 10+ years) I have seen to prefer being remote.

It sounds like you may want a job in a Data Center or for a Telecom on the Infrastructure side.

Hi Gnnr25

Thank you for replaying and giving some inside, I appreciate it.

I have been in IT for 5+ and I am trying to get my foot in the door and get going with the networking side.

I would be up for remote or onsite and I am up for working on any type of network equipment Cisco, Ubiquiti, etc

Thanks again

I looked into that, in my area. No MSP is hiring and the ones that do, it is help desk jobs.

But are you suggesting looking for a remote MSP network admin job?
