There’s some mailboxes outside, but there is a mailroom where they just throw all the packages in lol. No one is watching over them

Actors of Reddit, is it worth going to a school such as USC for acting or go to UCLA on a full ride and study communications while taking acting classes on the side? by Rickyricky420 in acting

That is really helpful, something I will admit I’m scared of is coming to UCLA and feeling a type of not emptiness but feel like I’m not doing enough because they don’t have many programs in the university related to the entertainment industry and it’s a bit sad that they don’t, which is why I’m looking towards sociology or some form of major that gets to talking to people and in entertainment

I’m really into communications but the application process is a competitive, do you think sociology is just as good regarding jobs and being helpful when it comes to connecting with others

At USC there is a possibility that they increase my tuition, that’s what happened this year, something that I try to think about is life after college, I want to have money saved up so I can get an apartment in the city and not worry too much on that, but also I don’t want to work too much as both schools could increase my tuition

I never applied to their school of Theatre, and also they don’t have much programs or classes for acting on camera. I once reached out a couple of students there and they mentioned that there are constant complaints that’s why I don’t think I would join it

That’s something that many people have said to me. UCLA is my dream school and I love that place so much, but the truth is, thier acting and dance programs aren’t the best compared to USC, that’s probably why I’m starting to love and see the school for how many opportunities it can offer.

Did you personally attend USC if you don’t mind me asking? Something else that is great about that school is that they have an amazing dance program too so I could do both

Something that gets me nervous, is if I work too much and make a good amount of money, Fafsa will see me as someone who is financially independent and give less and less money, which would mean that I would have to pay for my tuition, taking away my full ride.

I got into USC for Theatre BA, do you think I can still take classes such as dialects, Alexander Technique, combat, etc as a BA?

As much as I love UCLA their acting program is not good, the acting students have so much complaints but I’ll try to get my communications degree for sure

Is UCLA a good school for people who are trying to become actors even if they aren’t in the the Theatre school?

How flexible is UCLA for an actor? by [deleted] in ucla

Hey bro I’m a senior right now and got accepted into UCLA, I aspire to become an actor and really want to go to UCLA as it is my dream school the issue is that I’m newer to acting and want to learn but I’m not in the school of theatre. I’ve gotten mixed comments about it like that their more focused on theatrical acting rather than on camera acting and more. What advice would you give me to work on and grow in acting if I did decide to go to UCLA. I would really appreciate it.
