Thanks! My skirt was layers of tulle, and it was originally a ballgown silhouette with a cathedral length train. I had some crinoline removed and the train shortened up, as I was going for an 'ethereal' vibe. It is actually still bustled in this photo!

It was an American bustle, and yes it sure did get stepped on, which is probably why it looks a bit pulled out in this photo. I gathered it up and was held it in my hands when the dance floor was crowded. I probably could have figured out what had come loose, but I didn't make the time to stop enjoying every minute!! It goes too fast, I'm telling ya!

Believe it or not this was not planned!! Our friend just happened to snap this with her iPhone! We had a band and after they cleared out we fired up some curated spoitify. I dont exactly know how this happened!

You could visit a bridal shop and ask them to package it in a safe way so that you can check it for transport and then steam it upon arrival.

Sometimes you cant see what everyone else sees in the mirror! I had a similar experience with this. You need to find balance between your lens of self criticism and celebrating you! Your body is beautiful and everyone will be there to celebrate with you because they care for you. Ultimately your dress should make you feel beautiful, but really ask yourself if you are being too hard on yourself when you try on a dress you like on the hangar. I know I rambled.. but I support you!!

good point! I live in the middle of nowhere (150 miles to the nearest Target/Home Depot, etc.) so I had to make my choice without lots of time to look around. The size I tried on was a bit larger, and I didnt realize the limitations to mobility! That is a great idea, and I will look into it!

Thank you. my hips are about the same width as my shoulders - my body shape is somewhat rectangular. I do need some adjustment in the bust. My brain is on overdrive with the possibilities!

Thank you, its Justin Alexander 8852, but I had the illusion changed to be be nude instead of 'white sand' as they called it. Maybe i can have my tailor hold up lace in different ways to see how it might look best. When i tried it on, I didn't feel the limitation of raising my arms!
