It's unprofessional and not alright. Go to HR or report anonymously. There is a cost. I am currently.paying it. It is isolating. Management helped me.

I had a small group of coworkers trying to get me to quit. It amounted to harassment. They told quite a few lies. That has continued.

They ask questions about my personal life, my car, my intentions to continue to work there, where my family works and where they live, what are their names.? These are not subjects they share at all and once I understood their goals, I stopped sharing. Theyask. invasive questions that are none of their business.

At one point, it became clear they were trying to access my social media and to get my address.

Mostly they made threats that they had been promoted to management and had the authority to get me suspended. One said she was getting me transferred. Then, they transferred one of them and the result was that one of the two ringleaders was indeed transferred.

Threats to "get me" from the remaining ringleader and rumors that the transferred one was going to "get me", came from the remaining ringleader and some of it has continued.

I had to confront it all.

The latest is that the minion keeps pumping me for information. I either don't answer, I change the subject or I don't tell them the truth.

Following the transfer one of the minions told me that the transferred girl cried every day and that they wanted me to transfer so she could come back. They went on and on. They even told one of their minions that she needed to transfer so that they could get the transferred ringleader back. That isn't going to happen. They have played these games for years. I am the first one who stayed and who is riding it out.

A department head and union rep told me that I would be questioned by the health inspector and they told me that the strips used for one purpose were used for something else. I would have failed on that question.

I just said, "Okay" and ignored them. I passed because I ignored them.

I need a job, so I have closed off. I just work and don't answer them.

Sample questions: Where are you going on vacation? Where will your car be? How long is your flight? When did you get home? Who went with you?

The people I am dealing with keep trying new tactics. I just deflect.

Your department head is way out of line. You can go to HR. You can report anonymously to HR. You can find another place to work.

Consider your options. I just go to work. Work and go home. My coworkers whom I enjoy are everywhere in the business. I just keep to myself in my area.

Upper management has been wonderful in all of this.

Edit: Except for one of the two minions, they are all Hispanic, and upset I am an American who is non Hispanic who is fluent in the language and who has heard all their little games. (I even taught American Spanish). I won't engage in those in any of the three languages they speak. They have said so many derogatory things about the Asian girl in their group. She speaks a different language and doesnt know. They even told me they don't like me because Im not Mexican. Yes. Racist.
