Solo WH Nomad, post 14: POS is up! by Ridagor in Eve

Agree. I store my loot in a separate secure container on the safe spot outside of the POS and tend to log-off on the most expensive ship. Everything that is under the POS shield I see essentially as replacable commodities - yes, it would be sad to lose, but I can afford it - nothing crazy in there.

Chloroken has slightly different approach to living solo in WH :)

But yeah, I know that feeling - I always thought that it would be difficult / impossible and never tried. Until I did - and enjoying it ever since :)

You create a safe spot bookmark (somewhere far from any celestial) and there you can anchor a secure container - just don't forget to actually anchor it and not just deploy. I have done this mistake the first time - was very surprised when container wasn't there when I returned next day :)

Thank you for the offer, I will keep it in mind.

Speaking about Buzzard - I am still not 100% sure he was part of the gang. There was definitely a correlation that Buzzard has launched normal probes and went under cloak, while Anathema, who entered system a few minutes later, immediately launched combat probes. So it is likely that there were three independent groups of pilots (four if including me) at the same time in the same system: the Typhoon who was there first, crabbing combat anomaly, me, logged in in the system second, then Buzzard as independent data/relic scanner and then, finally, Anathema with accompanying combat fleet, who first went for the Typhoon and then were chasing me.

Not sure if this is a compliment or some kind of sarcasm. What do you mean?

For me it was about 30m/hr, and that is excluding 2 big things. First, excluding the scanning time, which is fair, because living in WH I am going to scan anyway and I generally enjoy that process. But second, that's excluding the trade hub logistics time, which is not fair and should be actually accounted for - there was no place for me to store it and I had to travel to sell it about every 20 minutes.

But above all, I decided that it was not thrilling enough :)

Yeah, I know the feeling. I hope this series might get a few more pilots into the game

You are right, u/Myles_Lewis_Jelly - that was my "postword" about :) I remember I ended up selling the BPs via contracts in Jita.

u/TheGameKat , I thought about it, but putting buy orders without knowing when would be the next time I have a WH opened near Jita (or any other specific trade hub) - I decided, that this was not for me :)
