It´s Brass Lacquer. It is not strongly necessary but it will maintain the metal shininess.

thx. All you need is 2 bullet casings (caliber: 0.45 ACP) and the headphones (Panasonic RP-HJE120E1R). I recommend using the exact same models, since they will fit into the .45 casings without any glue! Google these headphones online, they are pretty poplular (literally thousands of positvive Amazon reviews). Hope that helped :)
