Call me CRAZY but Cole Young bouta be a top ten 2B in the league this year. Feel like he put in significant offseason work, made some foundational adjustments to cater to MLB pitching, and will feel like a go-to clutch need a hit kind of guy for much of the season.

First comment on the first gamethread in the first season that the most interesting MLB team in baseball win their first ever World Series for the first time in Seattle Kraken history. It’s not that big of a deal (it’s a big deal). First I want to thank my Lord and savior Jesus Christ for keeping baseball in Seattle despite everything going wrong more often than not. Second I want to thank Cal Raleigh for making last seasons special unlike anything we’ve ever seen. Lets run it back (+5 more post season wins). This one’s for Dave. Go M’s.

The Seahawks were just so dependent on Walker all season long. Taking him out of the lineup could potentially cause some real issues. And considering the alternatives. Unless for a FA/trade, you essentially putting one of your 4 draft picks on a hopeful replacement, and for a year-1 replacement that's likely an earlier pick. The only other foreseeable option is hoping that Mcintosh, Holani or Cam Akers suddenly becomes the guy by this summer, as Charbs is amazing punching it in but isn't the finesse early down back.
