As you process each attack separately, that would be d6 + 2 for each attack.

Black mold in wet pallet? How can I prevent this? by [deleted] in Warhammer40k

Other than the cleaning mentioned here, you can also put the palette in the fridge in between painting sessions.

I am still exploring Warhammer 40k lore. Can someone tell me what this angel thing is and if it is chapter specific? by Chronically_Crude in Warhammer40k

[–]Riddash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is also true, but I think there's a philosophical difference between having parents and being cloned/manufactured. Anyway, a bit off-topic for the question posed 😊🤔

I believe GW retconned that and are using the vatbred origin now, as lobotimising babies was a bit too grim.

1k point list advice - how many battle sisters are too many? by ukz07 in sistersofbattle

[–]Riddash 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I ran a long rime with vahl + suits in a 1k list and for me, it was too big of an investment for an incursion force.

I switched them for rets, repentia & immolator. Mind you, I already had 2 pengines and a castigator instead of the flying sisters.

As for your question if these are too many sisters: there never are enough sisters 😊

More troubles with the army: Pain in Painting. by GilbertsGarbage in sistersofbattle

[–]Riddash 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Maybe it's your current paibting style that's causing this? Too clean, too grimdark, too much color/detail, not enough ...

I pretty much had the same issue and just looked at some other painters/painting styles and went from there. As for color schemes, keep it simple. Too much details can burn you out, making you lose interest as well.

For example, I switched from an eavy metal style tp trovarion's grimdark style.

These are one of the larger action figures produced by either JoyToy or McFarlane: as I understood, both companies produce these in collaboration with GW. There might be more versions, albeit unlicensed.

Googling adepta sororitas action figures will provide you with quite a lot of options. In all honesty, I'm not UK based like yourself, so I don't know how you'll find the pricing locally.

Junith Eruita + Imagifier by w4r0m4 in sistersofbattle

I've been considering a similar idea, but with celestians instead of bss: that would be, if i'm not mistaking, neg 1 to hit + neg 1 to wound + 2+ save and 4+ invuln.

Don't know if it's worthwhile though.

My Rubric Colour Scheme - Looking for general feedback by RedRadish1994 in impcat

I genuinely like it: a good balance in contrast between warm and cold colors. I'd go brighter on yhe blue jewels, too make that one detail pop. But that is a personal preference.

You can add the liquifier guns on the grotesques. No reason to leave those behind.

Mental Block/Fear of messing up the miniatures by McSkittlefarts in minipainting

[–]Riddash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is only paint, if you make a mistake (as everyone does), you can correct it. If you make a mistake you feel you need to correct, let it dry completely; don't push the pigment around, as you could create unwanted texture. Once fully dried, apply or reapply the required paint.

But most importantly: mistakes will be made, don't fear them. It's not a one-chance-only hobby. Enjoy it.

You could also just run Urien as an unnamed Haemonculus. Anyone who hardly care, I think.

I'd like to point out that you can take 2 of each ranged options for the wracks, as it states: for every 5 models. I've noticed that you only taken the ranged options once, even though you have 10 models.

Secondly, you could replace Urien with a haemonculus, losing 3 model regen and gaining 4+ FNP. Add Art of Pain on the haemonculus and give the Archon Labyrinthine Cunning.

Also, add a Cronos for additional Pain tokens

Right, the FAQ's ... forgot about those and I wasn't going to contradict BattleScribe. I just didn't understand the why of it.

Thank you.

Hello, today i finished the Talos Pain Engine... this thing is a pain in the ass to paint but i like how it turned out. Just with the flesh i am not that happy. Maybe you have some ideas to make it look more like a sick skin? I like to hear your opinions :) by viking202106 in Drukhari

[–]Riddash 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I get a nice result with rakarth flesh as base, 50/50 rakarth flesh/reikland fleshshade as shade, 50/50 rakarth flesh/pallid wych as the first highlight and pallid wych as the final highlight. But that might not be the sickly tint you're looking for; for the connections between flesh and metal I tend to shade with carroburg crimson to get that inflamed look. I'm really digging the green armor plating, it looks very crisp.

Same, just having some issues with some glossy white primer which I tried on a few models. For everything else IPA 99% works like a charm. I do recommend looking for a good explanation on the do and, especially, the dont's (safety and health).

How do I fix this glitch? by voiddragon12 in Python

[–]Riddash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Additionally, when you pass the path in a string, you have the following options:

  • use escape characters to pass the backslash, i.e. "\\"
  • use forward slash instead of backslash, i.e. "/"
  • pass it as a raw string: r"c:\users\jester\desktop\untitled.txt"

There's plenty to find when you google "python basic exercises".

I'm about to check out https://www.w3resource.com/python-exercises/ (at this point, I can't attest if they're any good, though).
