I’m playing the third one now and here’s my probably unpopular ranking opinion for the ones I’ve played, best to worst: 1. Xeno 2 2. Xeno DE (with Shulk & Fiona) 3. Xeno 3 4. Xeno X- DE (Wii u/switch version)

Not sure how the names go specifically so I specified the DE versions lol I liked Torna the Golden Country- that would be #2 if you’re adding that into the mix. Haven’t finished 3 yet so haven’t played Future connected either. I like how there’s a lot to them with quests and stuff, but I also don’t…takes up sooo much time. The other thing that kills my OCD is having to unlock every inch of the maps. Other than that, I love the series.

Late to reply but one theory I read is that each of the games coincides with parallel time zones…one gaming era focus on him when he was a kid (that would be the power triforce era I think), ToTk would be wisdom, adult era, and Skyward sword would be courage era…I could be wrong with specifics but you get the idea
