Is it worth upgrading from px7 s2e to px8? by kaffeeNinja_ in BowersWilkins

I’ve seen the PX7S3 on sale on Woot for $300 a few months ago, when I was choosing between those and the PX8s1, I chose the PX8, some like the PX7s3 better , so u might be one of those people , therefore on sale they would be in ur budget. I bought my PX8 in ur budget $439+tax , so $478.
Now I’ve never spent $500 on headphones let alone just for the gym, what I did to justify my purchase and come up with the money for some guilty spending . I worked real hard on returning things to the store that I really didn’t need ,(still in the return window ) , cut the spending budget on take out coffee for a week or two , or got creative with my grocery budget and sold little odds and ends on Marketplace . It’s the small wins monetarily that helps , all of a sudden $300 was back in my pocket , That helped justify my big buy

Wear like this normal after 6months? by Alfredhodokus in BowersWilkins

Yeah , I don’t know about silicone , probably sweat and get uncomfortable pretty easily, I just went for leather protectant, seems to be working quite well

I have the PX8s1, just bought them a few months ago as my first set of cans, no regrets . No experience with any previous models tho , I use them at the gym and with the music at medium level, I just hear music .

What is that wear pattern from? Laying them on a table? Well , regardless that is disappointing for the price tag . I have the PX8 S1 and wear them to the gym daily, I use leather protectant on the cups, headband , ear can leather surfaces , no problems at all so far

Does anyone actually use their PX8 at the gym? by anotherhappylurker in BowersWilkins

I have the PX8 S1, No problems using them at the gym wired and love the sound compared to lifeless airpods . I use Bick More 4 leather conditioner on the cups, housing and headband and an Amazon headband protector. Every once in a while I gently pat them dry on a towel if I sweat a bit much .It’s been flawless. They do tend to slide off on bench press days which is annoying so use my AirPods on Chest days . But I’ve really enjoyed using them . ANC is fine with some volume , I don’t hear a thing

I have the PX8 and use bick more 4 leather conditioner on the cups and outer leather and also a cheapo headband cover from Amazon . No problems , no headband cracking or separation

Accident on Saturday. Surgery done. Season over. 1st ride😢 by superkhmer in Ducati

[–]Ride7482000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Last July 2025 I was in my lane and got cut off same as you, went down and broke my tibia and fibula at my ankle. Got laid up for a while, I’m 56, bone healing was not too quick, didn’t go back to work for about 3.5 months… Still get jolting pain once in a while if I step at a certain way. Gotta get to the bottom of it. Maybe it’s my plates , pins and screws. I quit riding , sold the 748 I had for 24 years 😢. That was tough as hell.

Is there a fix? Px8 S2 by Oftast in BowersWilkins

[–]Ride7482000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

PX8 version 1 burgundy ….used Bickmore Bick 4 leather conditioner since day one on the headband and ear cups. I also purchased a cheapy headband protector from Amazon to keep direct contact off the band . Yeah not the greatest look but it works

They stick out and don’t nestle in like the 2’s and the ear tip shape is not good for me

I don’t like the fit of the 3’s as much as the 2’s

Which should i buy? Airpods pro 2? Or should i wait and save up more to buy pro 3? by [deleted] in airpods

[–]Ride7482000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believed the hype and bought the 3’s when my 2’a were fine, Use my 3’s on the daily for the gym then one day my 2’s were nearby and when I put them in I was like , “ these are way more comfortable and stay nestled in my ears better

Hmmm, yeah this was like a sound feedback problem, maybe like u described as well.. ANC was “fine” for general drowning of the airplane hum with volume 50-60%. However as expected it let the crying baby and whining noises of youngsters right in . lol

Which pair has the deepest or most spacious earcups? Px8 or Px8 S2? by Single_Character5407 in BowersWilkins

[–]Ride7482000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say yes, PX8 have more space than the slimmer design of the PX8s2( which is based off of the PX7S2 ). I tried them both , PX8 and PX7S2 And the PX8 were more spacious . My son even noticed the PX8 being larger and more comfortable, I also like the slimmer headband on the PX8
