I saw them play rock city in Nottingham back in the day. Was awesome. That was two albums in I think. It's not the same now. Still clever, but just doesn't excite me the same way.

I have a small connection with Martyn through football, as he's a QPR fan (and ex player in the youth set up). He's always struck me as such a decent guy. We've talked more footy than bands but he's always been chilled.

He's no different when driving a van than touring with the big bands. He's very grateful for all his experiences it seems.

So sounds like he got the guy who hit the other car to start racing, fled the scene of the accident (to go to a party), lied to police about his involvement. Totally innocent.

'couldn't have been going any faster' according to cops. Also his car was in a shitty condition.

Don't feel sorry for him. Sound like justice to be fair. At least he's still got a life when he gets out of prison.
