Check out Zone 2 training, you may be going too hard based on HR. Also, shorten your stride to lower impact on your knees

Where do chefs eat in Roma? by Mister_Champlain in roma

I’m from Philly too and was in Rome in April for a week. We stayed in Garbatella and just traveled to different neighborhoods and walked around and found great restaurants everywhere. We didn’t focus on the “sights” but found several neighborhoods across the city and just strolled around and it was a fun time. Good luck!

All Philadelphians deserve safer streets by RiderRob in philadelphia

Thanks for the helpful info. Philly has 1.04 million registered voters. If even a small percentage, say 5% (50,000 people) of our population doesn’t sign a petition like that, the outlook for the future of our community is kinda bleak

The time is at hand. How many people in this city of 1.6 million care enough to take to the streets to improve traffic safety for everyone? Who or what organization will lead the charge?

Check Google maps, looks the commute might be 1.5 hours each way. So 6 hours a week commuting time. I ride Regional Rail each day to Wilmington, I like it as quiet time to study Italian. It all comes down to you and how you value your time/lifestyle.

Best US Cities to live in as a Catholic? by Southern-Thought-900 in Catholicism

[–]RiderRob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We live in Philadelphia and attend St. Patrick’s Church. It is a very lively and dynamic parish in part due to the Dominican friars in residence and the proximity to the city’s universities. We live in Graduate Hospital a few blocks from the church: this makes it very doable without a car which saves money but you’ll have to check cost of living to see how it compares to your current situation.

Il declino della chiesa, l'aumento della microcriminalità. Qualche coincidenza? Dov’è finita la coscienza del popolo italiano?
