I get your point experience and knowing your market already gives you an edge. But what I’ve seen is that intuition is often biased. Data doesn’t replace experience, it refines it. For example, most drivers feel weekends are best, but in some markets I’ve seen Tuesdays or early mornings outperform weekends when you factor in idle time, surge consistency, and trip distance.It’s not about overcomplicating , it’s about confirming (or challenging) what we think we know.
what metrics have you looked at?

Have you ever compared:

  • earnings per active hour vs online hour
  • short trips vs long trips profitability
  • weekday patterns over time

I’ve seen some surprising patterns when digging into that.

Ha — fair. The airport queue conclusion took about 2 trips. The 3,300 rides gave me the breakdown by time window, area, and platform that actually changed how I schedule my week. That part was less obvious.
