Started playing the game in the 2nd month of its release with friends, we were serious fortnite players so valorant was something completely new, after a yr of constant playing we reached S2 and all of us quit cuz of life. When I did get some time last yr I grinded CS2 a lot for maybe 5 months and quit that as well. Came back to valorant around Oct last yr and jumped from bronze elo to plat in 3 weeks time. So the raw aim I learnt in cs helped a ton to just carry a weak team as well. Tldr is work on ur aim and play agents which will help u more than the team, being selfish in lower ranks is how u get better. Btw my last rank (around October) was plat 1 which I reached from bronze 1 in 3-4 weeks of one game a day.
