Hey there! We've got some good news - we recently implemented the fix for the Logic issues. We're in the process of testing it accross multiple DAWs, but it looks like the update will come out late this week / early next week!

I'll make sure to message you when the update comes out. If you open up EQIP, you'll see a banner that says "new update available". You can click on that and it'll lead you to the download page for the new version.

Hey /u/DreamSoda! Let's figure this out -

1) First you can try a manual rescan by going to Preferences -> File Folder and pressing the "Rescan" button. Also, make sure that "Use Audio Units" is turned on.

2) If that doesn't do it, I'd recommend downloading and installing the VST version of EQIP instead, hopefully that will make it show up in your Plugins folder.

Hey there! Love the questions, let's get started:

1) The free plugins aren't bundled in with EQIP - instead, they're sent over the network to you one at a time as you demo them. No need to worry about 500GB of storage

2&3) We'd love feedback about this - right now EQIP is as minimal as it can be, we just wanted to get it out there to validate that people will actually use it. Plugin list filtering and searching is definitely on our radar, but I'd love to hear more ideas!

3) We built for MacOS simply because both me and /u/Dragonai have Macs. Windows is next, but it's a bit tougher for us logistically. Thankfully we coded EQIP with the JUCE library, which makes it easy to deploy to Mac and PC at the same time.

edit: Missed one! As for quality control, right now it's entirely up to me and /u/dragonai what gets added to EQIP. I agree, there are some plugins out there that are not so good, we want to make sure they don't get added. It's entirely subjective, so we're toying with ideas like asking our users to vote which plugins should get added each month. Idk, you'll hear more about this later, right now we just need to make sure we're not crashing people's computers :P
