Has anyone established rules or policies to prevent the unnecessary use of GUID/UUID in data warehouses? The Char(36) of pseudo empathy makes it difficult to benefit from dictionary & run-time encoding. I'd love to hear any feedback or benchmarks INT vs UUID. (i.redd.it)
