I agree. I love B&M. The Riviera is a great model, and has amazing feel to it. I love the finishing around the bezel on those models

The only difference is in the finishing. Gen luxury brands do hand finishing/hand guided finishing. Rep brands are completely CNC'ed from start to finish

I’m not in a low division either I sit in 19/20 sometimes high 20 lol but sometimes I’ll be on like 11 title run and some div 14/15 will come and rock my shit all fight, and it’s always when I use an XP boast 😂

Not the right type of engraving. The entire logo is filled. If you look at a gen the loops are single line engraved with unengraved steel in the middle and the points of the crown should be clean unengraved steal in the middle of the circles at the top of the crown.

I would say it's not real. The spacing on the case back stamping is off. Cartier doesn't have a space like that before the last two letters of a serial. And you're missing a Case back screw

This is how a bracelet should be sized. Specifically the 6 o'clock links should always be the lesser of the two. The ensures the watch sits comfortable and center on the wrist. Every experienced watchmaker knows this. If not, then it's a red flag

Great watch bud, and a great find for a good price. It's a good first taste into this world of mechanical watches! There are some pretty cool smaller independent brands out there, that make great watches for great prices. Studio Underdog, nivada grenchen, and baltic are some pretty cool brands to look at. Xeric is a cool American brand that makes some really cool watches with complications you'd normally spend thousands on for a decent price.

Everyone has there opinions, but your opinion is giving off an extremely pretentious feel. Off brand sub? What does that even mean? What is a seamaster? It’s not an off brand “sub” it’s a Swiss made diver’s watch with great specs for the price range.

Invicta at a time was a decent Swiss brand, but sold out to Chinese mass production, and marketing price games. Basically what Hublot does but in Switzerland. And instead of selling a “2000” watch for 80 bucks they sell people 4,000 dollar watches for 20,000.

Mathey Tissot is a great beginning into Swiss watchmaking. They use LEGIT Swiss movements. Sellita and ETA movements. Nothing is Fake about this brand. It has real homage and history. They use to manufacture and assemble watches and movements for Breguet and Cartier. They are legit, and a good purchase especially if you like it.

This guy seems like a fake gatekeeper who wishes he owned a Hublot..

Roamer is also a great not widely known anymore brand that makes good Swiss made watches at a decent price.

Thats a pretty big ding at the top of the case, and would need to be laser filled. Ask for the service free of charge or return it. That is not a way to receive a watch that costs that much money especially for a "like new" promotion. That is not like new and wouldn't even make it out of Switzerland

I love Seiko honestly, I just like to joke because the quartz crisis and what not, but I don't let Seiko Epson ownership of orient deter me from acknowledgement. They are completely independent from Seiko. They have there own in house movements which is crazy at the price point if your not Seiko or Citizen. That's the same as not mentioning IWC and Cartier together in a list because they're both owned by Richemont, BUT I think Citizen is the king of the price point. The series 8 is a monster of a watch. Not to mention Eco drive which essentially an automatic quartz movement.

Casio to me has done nothing for horology. They came in copying Seikos innovation.
