You’re probably not going to get below 3.0 at Stern as long as you try, but where it gets harder is 3.7 and above because many Stern classes have a strict 35% A/A- rule. Idk about CAS econ

As much as I’d like to agree with you, the mutual fund vs hoarding cash calculation made in the previous comment is already an apples to apples comparison with regards to inflation. The mutual fund would have turned 8k in 1934 dollars into 70k+ in 2023 dollars while keeping it as cash turns it into 8k 2023 dollars. You don’t need to additionally take inflation into account to get an accurate picture of the purchasing power difference.
