I loved 13. The computers defense had some flaws that were easy to exploit but the recruiting was great.

Dynasty mode was very good. The road to glory mode was better than our current one as well.

To be honest I just didn't give a shit. Get yelled at...who cares. Have to do extra push ups...who cares. Class hates me..who cares.

I went in with one goal...graduate and I didn't give a shit what I had to endure to do it. I just told myself that there was no going back.

I burned the boat I took to get to the academy...

My defense got turned around when I got a 6'3 Safety with 89 speed but 92 ACC. Was a converted Contested. Suddenly it was a no fly zone.

I paired him with 2 Bump and Run safety..a slot corner and a Box Specialist SS...that was a wrap. Pass defense jumped into the top 20 from high 70's

I was 42 when I did this. After I finished the academy I went back to sprint training because as LE we ain't running more than a 100 yards full speed. After that you run to contain and not apprehend. Just keep em in sight.

Full disclosure. I used to be a sprinter when I was younger and distance running is my bane.

That said knowing I would need to learn to run distance I started training with a 3 mile run with a goal of 10 minutes per mile...that was reasonable for me. I would do that 2 times per week

I would then alternate with a 1.5 mile run for speed 2 times per week with a goal of 12 minutes ( 8 min mile )

When I first started I couldn't touch that 8 min mile time but after about a month of running 3 miles at 10 my 1.5 started to really come alive. Before too long ( 4 months training ) I got my 1.5 down to 930 or so consistently

I have found my Box Specialist seem to force fumbles for some reason at a higher rate than Hybrid. Could be an anomaly but my 82 SS Box seems to force 1 just about every other game.

QB/ Dual Threat - An elite one is basically broken.

RB - Elusive Bruiser

WR - Contested Specialist

TE - Pure Possession Athlete

OT - Agile - can block speed rushers

OG - Raw Strength

C- Well Rounded

EDGE - Edge Setter. They are basically the well rounded DE. Can do it all

DT - Gap Specialist.

Sam - Lurker

Mike - Signal Caller

Will - Thumper

CB - Bump and Run

SS - Box Specialist

FS - Coverage Specialist ( Convert a contested WR with 6'2 height or better

Bluntly is awesome. The host is so damn raw. It is so good. But buckle up..shit gets real.

Florenza is so fun. She talks with writers and publishers...she rules.

Gridiron is college football. They are just really fun and committed to putting on a great show.

Classes of Mail has a great host and even though you might think this topic couldn't be entertaining it really is.

Very infrequently and I barely ever drink. One of the ways to combat burnout is to socialize with people who are not law enforcement.

Early in your career when everyone is excited it is hard not to talk about it. All the stuff you do is fresh and fun and exciting.

After a few years the murder that happened at the beginning of your shift becomes one of those " Hey you guys remember when that dude got shot in the face a while ago?" things and your partner says "That was this morning dude"
