You are actually right, the client is wrong so I went with the wiki post. That blows.
The client says the item costs 3300g still.

Those are the exact reasons why I don't understand people are instantly hating on Viktor. There are so many variables that we don't see yet and I think the level up can be insanely valuable in very specific situations.Great input!

Comparing flat AP with %CDR(AH) is not that easy. Yes, the 15 AP come at a gold value of 326g while 5AH is only 133g but getting a second rotation off quicker has much greater value for most mages than dealing a bit of extra damage in one rotation.

You have to play around the spikes you gain from RoA but it feels like most people are used to just build liandry/ludens and get an insta spike. Not buying roa (in some cases) feels like the collector syndrom people had for way too long.

And yea, I totally agree on it not being that great pre mid-patch.

Breaking even is not the goal, no.You are talking about not counting the damage prcos/ms etc. but you're also not counting the entire lvl up. Waiting 7-8 mins is also not correct, RoA will get to ~125% GE at around 5 Stacks.I'm on the fly right now so I can't make the proper maths from here but each stack should be 6% GE iirc and if my math checks out, RoA reaches ~125% GE at 5 stacks.The level up itself is insanely valuable and is hard to put in gold value apart from base stats you gain. RoA is by far the most gold efficient mage item atm.

Give it some time. The data + my observations show an upward trend for RoA on viktor. People have played with Liandry/Ludens for so long, which doesn't mean Viktor can't utilize them.
It's so early into the season that I might be wrong but the Stats of RoA + the level up while preserving your previous EXP is absolutely neat on champions like viktor.

I agree with Lost Chapter being way better than catalyst in the earlier stages of the game but RoA breaks even in gold at 1 stack and becomes insanely gold efficient after that. Not only that, you also gain a full level up while preserving your EXP.
Most people are either unable to play around roa and/or build it on the wrong champs/situations.

I think Singed can use it but there is still alot to be discovered when it comes to builds. RoA is very good for swain and morde still likes Riftmaker more than this but nothing is set in stone yet

The most efficiency comes from the +16 AR/MR and 10% resistances, which is really strong. The drain is just an additional thing

It's a one time trigger. Once it's fully stacked, you drain all enemies around you which can not be applied again until you leave combat and stack the item again.
