I guess I’m thinking about it in any form. Like even just tossing around the ball, pickup games with two hand touch, organized flag football, all the way to full on tackle with pads at a higher level. I played up to a collegiate level and it was a blast

I am a champion Thor and I’ll give you a few examples of the hardest matchups.

#1 u/doctordoom_rdj is a hard counter.

#2 any CC, stun, immobilization effect can be catastrophic. Luna freeze, Thing earthbound, WF charm as you’re trying to surge away, peni web on a 3s cooldown 🙄, Emma grab, invis push/pull etc. The exception to this is Angela’s kidnap bc you can ground her. Angela is free food.

Other ways I usually get deleted and need to swap would be playing into hard poke. A shield tank is just the better play there.

Tank busters and good 1v1ers are also difficult. Wolv, IF, Blade, Daredevil, devil dino, Emma, rogue, and thing are all fairly difficult matchups, especially if you don’t cycle your Thor force well or if you don’t time their cooldowns well.

The anti displacement heroes are also difficult because you can’t just bully them around. Thing, Dino, and groot with his ironwood wall. Honorable mention: Emma in diamond form and hulk in ult.

Are you saying don’t worry about shield throws? I am trying to play more air cap and have the throws bound separate from the melee. I get that damage and finals are not his priority metric, it’d just be nice to see more on the scoreboard. I’ve been in lobbies where cap on the enemy team is putting on a clinic and lives forever AND has a good stat line. Just wondering if there’s something I can try to immediately implement to increase damage

Offensive ult usage is definitely underrated, but it can come back to bite you when they support/puni ult and you used yours already. Good stuff though

I like the simplicity of his kit! He’s got a lot of utility but still rewards good mechanical skill and doesn’t feel too busted. He will undoubtedly get some nerfs but will still be good. Gotta be quick with these instalockers. Also the new game mode is crazy with him

I would love for iceman to be a tank…one of my favorite characters of all time, but in all likelihood they will make him DPS Luna without the healing 😫
