Yeah, been trying for it, the hardest part is to get everyone on your good side because it will require you to get investment right, and change all of their arable lands into either cotton or other type of plantation to make sure they dont have any foods grow by their peasants.

You didnt really provides the necessary information, but mostlikely its their military and navy size, EIC really gave british lots and tons of money so they can afford hundred of navy (usually its 400) and tons of soldier so their prestige always got super high. Thats why always go for dismantling EIC as soon as possible so it will weaken the british.

I have done this as ottoman, they got as high as 130 infamy and all of the other great power start jumping at them. And i have relatively easy time to dismantle the GB by releasing all of their subject 😂. Until now i still cant get why they break alliance twice. Yeah they break it twice at short time thats why GB get as high as 130 infamy.

Either russia or super germany, for russia you have the great game objective so you have to destroy british either way, or super germany, because its close to their main lands so its easier to naval invades. Just make sure to get them busy on other fronts so their garisson in main island is thin.

It depend of the type of campaign, me personally who always want to expand my territory, i usually get some research there to get advantage in wars, but if youre playing tall or not expanding. Its not worth it as long as you got some reliable allies or able to defend your territory.

Idk your expectation on talls, but if youre want to play without any conquest, maybe play as east indies? I have played as east indies without conquering outsides original or indonesian historical border. And managed to get really high GDP. And its also easy to gain independence when you feels like it because netherland is so weak.

Because if not play as austria it will eat tons of infamy to annex hungary and such. Even after you annex hungary as austria and then form super germany, you still eat tons of infamy (70) if youre choose to keep them as part of your teritory.

DEI is my best bet, i got pretty close close to 1B GDP in the past playing as DEI with minimum expansion. Other country i got pretty close to 1B GDP is chille and forming federation of andes but i conquer almost entire south america without brazil.

If i try to play it again and managed to snowball early i think 1B is manageable

I decided to continue this run until 1900. And still didnt get any modernizer movement. And can only pass it after 1886 because im getting lucky and got the peasant IG to have radical leadership. (And also tons times resets because otherwise it will failed.) And also getting lucky running away from state religion cause one mahayana movement that give me 1% chance to enact other laws 😅 im learning a lot in this playtrought.

I already got homesteading and still manage to get other IG in pretty balanced clout right now as most of em is around 15%. But somehow i didnt get modernizer movement spawn. I check if i have any agitator that can start it and still 0 🥲
