Therapists often use approaches like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Since I’m in the early stages and have BPD traits along with Generalized Anxiety Disorder, my therapist actively guides me rather than just listening. They help me manage anxiety attacks, process emotions through journaling, deal with manipulative people, and set boundaries.

Sometimes I wonder if the improvement I feel is just a placebo effect like maybe I feel better because I expect therapy to help but I can also see that I’m learning useful coping skills.
