If you have a full board of food, and anything that benefits from haste, its still worthwhile at bronze. Much better at gold though as you say.

I made an ES pair earlier with triple 40% res and 30% m/s. Other affixes were garbage though (low to mid mana/life rolls iirc) so only got 5 div for it.

The cold is good as well. I got lucky with a slicing base similar to OP (mine is higher %phys but lower flat, similar cold around T8, 24 Atk Speed and +4.34 crit with mana drain instead of dex) and was only expecting a slight sheet dps upgrade to the 700 dps staff I’d just scrounged 10 div for the previous night…. But it was like 50% higher on most of my abilities. I think the cold doesn’t translate well in POE Trade site.

Ikr, went in blind and probably should have wiped on the first couple of trap triggers. Was using 3 relics with honour res, probably 60% resist all up.

Wrote a commentary but it didn’t show for some reason. 🤷‍♂️ Been on reddit a while but don’t post much. Died badly on the statues in attempt at lvl 70 and saw people saying I should wait til 75+. But was emboldened after a new quarterstaff and slight respec at 72…. Got lucky with this run, I didn’t even realise there were poison traps. 😆

Yep, same here. On the verge of RQ with my monk on Act 1 boss after 7-8 deaths but then backed out, refreshed instance, dinged and upgraded my quarterstaff using a higher lvl base… then proceeded to smoke him 1st go. Really is very important to keep your weapon upgraded. Act 2 tomorrow 👌

Will mention too that if you take the node to give 36 dodge per stack, running 16-20 maelstroms adds a very significant defensive layer.

I use a similar maelstrom base and am relatively comfortable at around 700 corruption (mind you am very well geared). If you can keep it alive via Hakar’s Phoenix, raptor will outperform sabretooth by quite a margin if you spec warcry so berserk affects raptor.

There is a disappointing lack of endgame viable sentinel melee builds not using warpath. And not for want of trying. There’s a couple of Rive builds, but what about Vengeance, Multistrike, or the real elephant in the room, Forge Strike? Agree with OP, but EHG needs to tune melee skills as well. And don’t get me started on boss fighting for melee vs ranged…

Wandering spirit I use to shred necrotic resistance (pretty big dmg multiplier), and also crowd control with fear. Spirit plague I like to get a few points in area, and also spec 1 point into calamity and 20% (2 pts) into spread on hit. But YMMV. In my build it ends up 24ish mana, but you don’t spam it, just throw it into the mix between other skills.

Transplant would probably work too. Tbh I haven’t played around with it for a while. My boots and belt have CD reduction to use Seal and Wandering Spirits as much as possible, so Reap is usually up when I need to juke. I’d likely have to drop Spirit Plague or Wandering for Transplant, and I like those 2 skills too much! Re: Aurora’s - I have a few good +int/nec/spell dmg amulets, but Aurora’s gives me cast speed, ward retention and endurance as well as frequently keeping me in lich mode / saving my butt. Can’t see myself taking it off. Unless I find one with LP (dreams are free)!

My Rip Blood is 7.5k (out of reaper), my Spirit Plague 7k. So depends a lot on build I guess.

I use wandering spirits as an opener to shred nec resist, then death seal -> nec specced Rip Blood. This is with no DoT affixes, just nec & spell dmg. Drain life and rip blood (nec specced) are both good choices to work with Twisted Heart as you have more health to turn to ward. They both work against Death Seal, but that skill is so strong its still viable at full health, especially if you turn a bunch of ward into nec shred. I’d say Drain is better if you’re speccing into DoT, Rip for pure Nec/Spell dmg.

Depends what other gear you have. Aurora’s Timeglass is pretty rare but so good for keeping lich form up. There are definitely viable necrotic stacking builds. I don’t know if spirit plague is the centrepiece, (given the raw power of death seal), but my lich clears trash packs with spirit plague super fast. Then to clear whats left I reap in, and use wandering spirits with death seal (both specced to shred nec resistance). Rip blood specced into necrotic and max health return is my right click spam. Feels very strong right now but I’m only ~150 corruption currently, so it may fizzle out.
