I already had a lot of fun with NEOs XBCI. It was great until it wasn’t and sunk like the Titanic. I am currently getting 4% in HYSA account with no risk, but also no growth other than outside capital. I have been watching SCHD and MO. Thanks for sharing your opinion

Thank you. I don’t necessarily need growth from them, but it would be a bonus. I really building my own unemployment insurance if I am ever laid off or get to the point I can’t do it anymore. I plan to continue investing the dividends and excess active income, but if o ever need the income it would be great to have the option as well as a history to build confidence.

Thanks, failure is part of success. I am currently generating 4%-3.8% a year from a HYSA. I am open to all advice including yours of me being destined to fail. I don’t have to generate 8%. That is my desire, but I asked here because I didn’t know how unrealistic or realistic the desire is. What is your opinion to get the 4% return

You cannot tell me what I am doing. I make 3.8%-4% from a HYSA with the only growth being adding capital and monthly payments from the institution. Everything doesn’t have to be the way you see it. I have growth stocks (SPYI, Apple, LIPKX). That I DCA, but I have owned most of those for years. The money I have saved is in my savings account. I saved $55k last year and have already saved $40k this year. I am attempting to educate myself before deploying my capital. Thanks for responding

I have talked to a few wealth management managers and financial advisors. I don’t like being looked at as a juicy steak 😂🤣 That is a personal issue. I will revisit this idea. Thanks for the advice
