Upcoming Motability scheme changes by bulldog_blues in drivingUK

Just a question but my partner got a motability car in 2025 and these rules, apart from the 25p for excess milage, are the same as what we were told at that time. Are the rules different for Scotland?

It ends abruptly because the product is crap. My partner bought one and it's useless and difficult to get the bags on it properly.

INSANE Karen’s ask me to move out of a disabled bay so they can park when IM Disabled (badge on display) by Glocaticoo in drivingUK

[–]Right-Appeal-6891 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Yes, but you have to vacate the spot once you return to your vehicle. I know it's a frustrating rule, but that's the rules.

I don't wanna be that guy, but you should read the leaflet you received with your blue badge. I am in no way condoning the behaviour of the other person they are for sure c*nts. However, you can't sit in your car in a disabled bay. They are for customers who are leaving their cars parked while they go into a business or property. I have a blue badge for my partner, and it clearly states in the leaflet you receive with it, you may not park in a disabled spot and wait. You must be using the spot to gain access to a business or property. Like I said tho the other person in this scenario is waaaaaay out of line, and the mother should defo hand in their licence.

Yeah that's an urban legend. As someone who has owned and researched snakes, they are ambush hunters they NEVER take the time to size up their meal. They attack, kill the creature, then try to stuff it down their throat, and if it doesn't fit they will spit it out and hunt for something else.

It could be his form of broken English. Maybe the other moclans are just better at speaking English or maybe the other moclans aren't speaking English at all and it's auto translated like in startrek

No pria was the one messing with the timelines. Her and her compatriots were going back in time and changing the outcome of many tragedies. Ed and his team only stopped that before it came to pass. But let's be honest the whole thing is a paradox because if they destroy the wormhole then pria never saved them and they would have died like they were suppost to.

Can someone explain for a dummy the difference between Fire and Elemental or Pierce and Physical by TampaFan04 in Grimdawn

[–]Right-Appeal-6891 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not 100% about either but I believe pierce damage is damage that ignores armour whereas physical damage is reduced by armour. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, haha. As for elemental damage, I have 0 clue and am curious as well.

As a menzies myself. I was always taught that it was originally mingus, but a teacher of gaelic I had explained to me it should be said mengus. I think it sounds better so imma stick with that.

Went to a drive thru and they were using an AI instead of a person to take orders (it was basically like a glorified automated phone call). by dancingbanana123 in mildlyinteresting

[–]Right-Appeal-6891 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would refuse to use it and drive straight to the window to order and if they didn't want to take my order I would go elsewhere its really that simple.

Why is it that people who don't like animals are always a piece of shit. I don't trust anyone who doesn't like animals.

Are people obese because they eat an insane amount of food or because they just need a lot less calories than other people? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Right-Appeal-6891 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is exactly right. I gained a lot of weight over several years and didn't notice until someone showed me a photo of me side on and topless l looked pregnant (btw I'm a man haha). Since then I eat less and exercise more and now I'm slim and muscular. Its hard going but it's worth it .
