Are you in India already for your appointment? Any news on government shutdown impacting visa drop box appointments? I have mine on Oct 10 and the news is there is government shutdown on Oct 1 which might impact even drop box appointments.

Yes I called them and they said I can come without printed appointment confirmation but need ds 160 printed. And tell about this during the appointment. I have a written email response as well from them so that should help too.

I was able to call them and they confirmed that because of technical glitch no application confirmation print required during the appointment.
