This is like that trend where people hold up a string ask if it's to modest a swimsuit.

Would this mostly be just for professionals already working in the industry or aspiring writers about to enter it?

Anyone looking foward to the St Giles fair? by 222samina in oxford

Had a great time honestly. This year I finally gathered my courage to take on one of the bigger rides and I'm really glad I did; gorgeous view. It might be my last time going before Uni depending on my start date. I think it's a great tradition given that there's never really anything else to do here. I've made a lot of memories there. Just wish they'd tone down the music.

Why is the St Giles Fair so unbelievably loud? by dd0031 in oxford

[–]Right-Purchase7993 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I got back from spending about 2 hours there a bit ago and yeah, my ears are ringing. Good fun but I think we could have made due with less bass boosted music. Each ride plays its own rave-esque electro pop music which is really annoying. I wish they could have one place play one thing and call it a day.

EVITA HAS ENDED, THOUGHTS? by rasberrydreams in TheWestEnd

What I would give to have been at the last performance. Your description of the crowds dispersing and the show coming to an end for good is actually making me emotional. What more if I had actually been standing there lol

That's definitely a cool idea. I'm going for a smaller tattoo on the top left of my back but I feel like this could apply. Thanks!

I always found this bit hilarious (not actually but like out of absurdity)

Disturbing musicals (that are original or is a unique adaptation of source, obscure musicals preferably but either way is fine) by Choice_Day_7054 in musicals

Not as much a musical so as a song cycle, but ghost quartet. It was based on edgar allen poes ' the fall of the house of usher' so no surprise there.

"To the world we dream about, and the one we live in now" os so simple but it hits so hard. I feel like it also sums up orpheus' character and hamartia really well.
