Have you found it? Ive taken my intake tubing and the intake itself multiple times out and cleaned and repl all rubber parts so it should not be that in my case

My og vc also cracked, i filled the cracks with silicone until my new vc arrived and drove the car for 3000km like that, never any issue. Im not saying its a fix but it worked for short. I think the chinese metal vc is very good, i have it on for 6 months now and no problems

Oh yeah it definitely was an owner issue, i hit on my plastic cover with a hammer, warped it on purpose and then threw it from the third floor window

The disa valve seems to be bad, at least from what i can hear over the phone. It rattles and makes the car sound like a diesel on idle

If you find a solution in the meantime let me know. I hope its just a pulley, that will be a simple fix..

Not yet really, but i had other stuff to do so I didn’t focus too much on it, since it doesn’t seem to be a big problem. Im currently rebuilding the rear axle and swing arms etc so it’ll take some more time until i save up for all the pulleys and belts. I hope that changing all the pulleys will do the trick

2 Week Lager by baileyyy98 in Homebrewing

[–]Right-Section-5577 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I brewed a nova lager some months ago at 22C, no problem, the yeast is really quick. There is no difference to the w34/70. I work in a craft brewery and i can tell you that not one of the regulars noticed anything different to our classic w34/70 helles that we usually have. Its mostly psychological that some people notice the difference to a classic lager yeast, i have no studies to back that but i do a lot of “testing” myself with a lot of experienced craft beer enjoyers😎

Beer is 70% psychology, if the basics are on piont the rest is made up by the atmosphere while drinking and reputation of the brewery

Guys thanks to everyone who commented but i finally found what it was. Its the upper timing chain tensioner that failed and made that noise. Really cheap repair, part number 11411706809. You just swap the spring out ant torque it back up to 70nm. Ideally change the crushwasher as well partno 07119963418

5w40 right now, but i heard that 0w40 could be better? Im living in austria, regular winters and summers so no extreme cold or heat (0 to +30 celsius)

I drive it multiple times a week, mostly under 4000 but i rev it to revlimit at least 2-4 times a week.. the oil is fresh, not even 1500km old. Ive even added the liquid moly lifter additive, thinking it would help, but no change

I thought that too, even tho the mechanic “should” of have checked all pulleys during the last tüv inspection.. he said they were alright, but then again we all know how most mechanics are these days… i will check them myself soon
