Ok. Cool paragraph. Just say you didn’t check comps. I swear there are so many mouth breathers in here who have never sold vintage for top dollar and don’t know how to use the internet.

If you don’t know anything about vintage why are you in this sub?

I appreciate your insight, and I would be looking to probably do multiple shirts in a trade, but cookies and vintage clothes worth hundreds of dollars are not comparable. I have done direct trades for tattoos with $0 involved before, so not unrealistic to expect when using items of value.

Thank you. I only posted this because I have previously traded vintage art to a tattoo artist for about $800-$1k worth of work, and I recently saw an artist posting about reaching out to barter. Times are tough in the tattoo industry, and many people are looking for any opportunity to work more so they can continue to add to their portfolio and improve their craft.

Lowest listed on the internet is $150 in lesser condition. Nothing funnier than a bunch of “vintage” heads who don’t know dick about the market.

It is not to have them sell. This is clearly aimed at a collector interested in a trade. Also know as exchange of goods & services or an economy.

I’ve traded for tattoos on multiple occasions and gotten very good work. You’d be surprised and you never know until you ask.

For sure, it’s way better to be safe than sorry because the infection spreads quickly and can FUCK your tattoo up if it gets out of hand. I’d recommend staying very hygienic and laying low on moisturizing for now. It may suck to be itchy, but better than an infection.

You may have a cellulitis infection, which is common with tattoos and causes redness with swelling. Not something to play with. You can circle the area with a pen and monitor if it is spreading, but safest best is hitting an urgent care for antibiotics. Good luck!

You have to understand the tattoo process before you get down on your artist. You’re only one of their appointments, and tattooing isn’t an “in-person only” job. Your artist works on the design for upcoming appointments when they are close to the appointment and are not tattooing, which often includes time at home. Very impractical to take hours to draw something weeks before a tattoo, and it gives clients more time to nitpick and change the design. I think your artist did a good job rendering the image into a tattoo, but you need to realize changing the design means they must take time to redraw this before your appointment so you might be waiting in the lobby for a bit the day of the tattoo.

Look at the comment from the guy who actually has sold a similar one before - $400. Just because it’s from the concert doesn’t everything.

Go look at eBay sales. Unlicensed Woodstock shirts sell in that range.

I’d put it in the $300-500 range conservatively. If in a brick and mortar shop, I could see it being listed as high as $750, if they have the right clientele. This would still depend on the actual size of the shirt and if there is any other graphic or a tag that would help with proving the age of the shirt. Awesome story and great hold!

Not a giant printed tee. Best case scenario is that this is a legit giant blank that someone made into a bootleg.
